3 Fabulous New Shows Added to Our Lineup!
Jake Owen
Sunday, November 2nd - 4pm & 7pm
Since his first album was released in the fall of 2006, Jake Owen has landed three of his songs in country’s top 20, made his debut on the stage of the Grand Ole Opry, and toured with headliners like Kenny Chesney, Alan Jackson and Carrie Underwood. He also received a nomination for Top New Male Vocalist at this year’s Academy of Country Music Awards.
His first album, “Startin’ With Me,” produced two top twenty singles: the title song and Owens’ original hit, the party song “Yee Haw.” This spring, he hit the top twenty again with “Something About A Woman.” A native of Vero Beach, Owen will bring the best in country home when he returns to the Lyric stage.
Rachel McGoye

Singer/songwriter Rachel McGoye’s debut extended play recording “What Day Is It?” attracted the attention of 10spot Records, and in 2007 she released her first full-length album, “Beautiful Disaster.” That same year, McGoye opened for Kellie Pickler at the Jensen Beach Pineapple Festival, and was chosen as a main stage artist for the NACA Regional West Conference, where she showcased for hundreds of colleges. She has spent much of 2008 on the road, playing shows from Los Angeles to Florida, promoting her album and honing her craft.
Born in Stuart, McGoye sang with Martin County High School’s renowned choral group, OPUS, and trained with opera great Rita Vallis. Of her performance at the Lyric, McGoye says, “It’s like coming full circle to do a show here.”
Jim Brickman

Jim Brickman revolutionized the sound of adult contemporary music with his pop style solo piano. His best-known compositions include the chart-toppers “Valentine,” “The Gift,” “Love of My Life,” and “Peace.” In November 2005, he held the top three spots on Billboard’s New Age chart for his albums “The Disney Songbook,” “Grace” and “Greatest Hits.”
Brickman’s remarkable career includes six gold and platinum selling albums, three number one and twelve Top 10 adult contemporary radio hits, a Grammy nomination and more. He has been featured in three PBS specials and hosts a weekly syndicated radio show, “Your Weekend with Jim Brickman.” Brickman’s latest album, “Unspoken,” is his first all-solo piano CD since he launched his career with “No Words” fifteen
