LYRIC THEATRE MAGAZINE WINS SILVER ADDY AWARD

STUART, FLORIDA (March 2009) – The Lyric Theatre has announced that its 2008-09 Season Magazine, The Lyric, captured a Silver ADDY Award from the Treasure Coast Advertising Federation in the Advertising for the Arts & Sciences category.  The ADDY Awards, which recognize creative excellence in advertising, are the world’s largest advertising competition.

The Lyric magazine was designed by Tara Biek Creative.  Credits go to Melinda Stevens, Creative Director/Designer; Sonya Baldwin, Ad Designer; Denise Belizar, Copywriter; Alex Srb, Photography; and Amber Ducote, Account Executive. 

Project coordination for The Lyric magazine was handled at the Lyric by Josephine Pace, Assistant to the Executive Director. 

The Lyric’s invitation to its season opening gala featuring KC and the Sunshine Band, which was also designed by Tara Biek Creative, earned a Gold ADDY.  Credits go to Melinda Stevens, Creative Director/Designer; Sonya Baldwin, Designer; and Amber Ducote, Account Executive.

The Treasure Coast ADDY Awards is the first tier of a three-tier national competition conducted annually by the American Advertising Federation.  Gold winners at the Treasure Coast level move on to compete at the district level.  District winners are then eligible for the ultimate competition, the national ADDY, presented in June.
