Grammy Award winning jazz singer Esperanza Spalding will be one of the late additions to The Lyric Theatre's 2012-2013 lineup.

The Stuart venue has announced seven new shows for the season opening in October. Spalding, who in 2011 was the first jazz artist to win a Grammy Award for best new artist, is the only newcomer.

Joining her are comedian and TV host Howie Mandel, Burt Reynolds and guitarist Dave Mason. Returning are the 1960s doo-wop band The Duprees, Paraguayan harpist Marcos Vega and stand-up comedian Paula Poundstone.

Reynolds, a Martin County resident, will present the second part of his one-man show "An Evening with Burt Reynolds," in which he will tell stories about his career and movies. He also holds regular acting classes at the Lyric's Flagler Center.

Mandel, a judge on TV talent show "America's Got Talent" along with Howard Stern and Sharon Osbourne, performed his stand-up act at the Lyric in January.

Acts the Lyric announced in May include TV host Regis Philbin, singer Richard Marx and R&B boy band Boyz II Men.

Only Lyric Theatre members can buy tickets for the season until they go on sale to the public Sept. 4. Visit www.lyrictheatre.com
