Florida Arts & Dance Company & Russian Ballet Orlando Presents

Nutcracker

Generations of audiences have enjoyed this perennial Christmas favorite, a charming tale of holiday adventure that follows a little girl's journey through a fantasy world of fairies, princes, toy soldiers, and an army of mice. Florida Arts & Dance Company combined with professional dancers: Christina Martin of the Orlando Ballet and Barry Trammel, Director of the Vero Beach Ballet, recreate Tchaikovsky's most beloved tale including "Dance of the Sugar Plum Fairy" and "Waltz of the Snowflakes."

This two-act ballet had its premiere at the Mariinsky Theatre in St. Petersburg, Russia, on December 17, 1892. You can see this fantastic tale reinterpreted by Artistic Director, Loretta Miller.
