Four Seasons

On Thursday, May 13th Florida Arts & Dance Company will debut its annual Guest Artist Ballet at the Lyric Theatre. The Four Seasons will be an artistic journey of visual stimulation set to the music of Giuseppe Verdi. This years’ performance incorporates professional local artist who have created costumes to represent winter, spring, summer, and autumn.

This presentation features Marsha Ismailoff Mark as Guest Chorographer.  Mrs. Mark has been influencing young lives through the art of dance for over thirty two years.  Marsha or Mim, as she has come to be known at FADC, was born in Russia. She began her career training with renowned ballet choreographer, George Balenchine and Russian Ballet mater George Volodine.  “It is great honor to have someone working with us who has experienced such amazing ballet history” says Andrea Berry, Executive Director of Florida Arts & Dance Company.

Mim is collaborating with Loretta Miller, Florida Arts & Dance Company’s Artistic Director of Ballet to recreate this original piece of work first produced in 1979.
