It’s time to deck the halls . . . with Dixieland jazz! And you’re invited.

Doc Grober, the Treasure Coast’s very own acclaimed jazz pianist, is here for his annual “doctor visit” -- this time to celebrate the holidays. Get ready for a Dixie twist on seasonal favorites, performed only as Doc and the Mudcats can.

If you’re not familiar with Doc, he’s a retired orthopedic surgeon who’s just as talented when it comes to tickling the ivories. In fact, his musical roots go back nearly four decades, before he went to medical school. With his band Ron Grober’s Quaker City Rhythm Kings, he played regularly in Philadelphia, New York and even Paris.

The current Mudcats band includes young and retired professional musicians, recruited from throughout Florida. Their performance is the perfect prescription for ringing in the holidays!
