Artists for a Cause Presents

Singing with the Stars

This inaugural fund-raising event, “Singing with the Stars” will provide an entertaining evening of competitive singing, with professional singers paired with amateurs. Artists for a Cause will also include another excellent nonprofit, Keep Martin Beautiful, as a partial beneficiary of the proceeds of the event.

Amateurs will be partnered with stars who have major performance experience, including touring with artists like ten-time Grammy award-winning Santana and Barry Manilow.

“Every performer loves to be on stage,” said Barber. We thought this new event would be a great way to connect with talented individuals in Martin County who have a love of singing but have spent their time doing it in their cars or showers but never had the thrill of being on a real stage performing in front of a live crowd.”

Singing with the Stars Participants:
David Dew is a real estate broker from Stuart and Chair of the Martin County Democratic Executive Committee. Dew will perform with professional Shelley Keelor, who has been entertaining audiences regionally and internationally on stage and in concert for nearly two decades.
