Students at Mo’s Danceworks present a fun-filled production of the Nutcracker. The usual suspects are there, but the Nutcracker is a Disco King. After Clara saves him from Michael Ratson, he takes her through the Land of the Snowtappers to Disco Land. Here, the Nutcracker gives her gifts from various countries. It wouldn’t be the Nutcracker without the Sugar Plum Fairie. She and her court present an almost-classical version of the Christmas favorite. The production not only allows students to show off their skills in tap, jazz, ballet, and contemporary, but it also gives students from 3 to 53 a chance to perform.
