Recreating the September 16th, 2011 concert featuring one of the most beloved tenors of all time, Andrea Bocelli, Live in Central Park [Revisited] brings you back to that night, as Bocelli, accompanied by the New York Philharmonic and as well as some of pop and classical music’s greatest minds, transformed Central Park into a grand opera house. Live in Central Park [Revisited] features some of music’s most beloved compositions, including “Ave Maria,” “Amazing Grace,” and “O Sole Mio.”
The show stars Jonathan Hawkins, Lee Lessack, and Heather Lundstedt O’Neill. Hawkins has enjoyed great success as an opera singer, having been featured as a soloist in Dvorak’s Stabat Mater, Handel’s Messiah, and Mendelssohn’s Elijah. Hawkins can also be heard on the soundtracks for Lost, Spiderman 2, and High School Musical. A talented baritone, Lee Lessack has been called “cabaret romanticism of a high order” by Billboard Magazine and has released five albums over the course of his career. Finally, Heather Lundstedt O’Neill starred in the west coast premiere of Catch Me If You Can, and also appeared in the role of Dorabella in Cosi Fan Tutte. Musical director John Boswell has also served as director for such artists as Judy Collins, Andy Williams, and Bob Newhart, and most recently composed music for the HBO special Kathy and Mo: The Dark Side.
