COVID-19 Updates

In response to COVID-19, The Lyric Theatre has suspended all performances until further notice. The health and safety of our patrons, volunteers, staff, artists, visitors and our entire community is our top priority. We continue to carefully monitor the situation and will keep you informed of the rescheduled and/or cancelled performances and events.

There is always a risk of exposure to COVID-19 in any public place where people are present. COVID-19 is a highly contagious disease that may result in personal injury, severe illness and death. By visiting The Lyric Theatre, and/or attending The Lyric's shows, events, education programs/classes or other activities, you voluntarily assume all risks related to exposure to COVID-19. All staff, volunteers, artists and visitors must follow The Lyric's health and safety protocols. Please help keep each other safe.

We take our responsibility as your host seriously and will continue to follow the latest, most current Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) guidelines to assist with slowing the spread of COVID-19.  We have instituted regular precautionary practices in The Lyric which include enhanced cleaning and frequent disinfecting, including specifically high traffic and high touch areas, restrooms, and both front of house and back of house areas.

The Lyric realizes that we cannot eliminate all risk to those coming to our facility.  Our efforts do not replace important practices to keep yourself well, including vigilant hand hygiene, staying home when symptomatic and social distancing wherever possible. Hand sanitizing stations are available throughout our facilities for your convenience. We instructed our staff and volunteers to limit contact with patrons and remind them to practice good hand hygiene too.

If, within 14 days of your visit to The Lyric, you and/or members of your party have been in contact with anyone diagnosed with COVID-19, traveled to or from areas of substantial community spread, or if you have experienced any of the symptoms listed below, we ask that you please stay home.
• Fever of 100.4 degrees or higher
• Cough
• Shortness of breath or difficulty breathing
• Sore throat
• New loss of taste or smell
• Other flu-like symptoms
