The Israel Chamber Orchestra feat. Phillippe Entremont
The Israel Chamber Orchestra was founded in 1965. In 1995, Philippe Entremont was named the Orchestra's Principal Conductor, and he continues to serve as its Conductor Laureate. Gil Shohat, the Orchestra's current artistic director, was appointed in 2005. In the past 40 years, the orchestra has performed with many internationally known soloists and toured extensively in Europe, North and South America and the Far East, participating in many prestigious festivals.
