Al D La Entertainment Presents
Toast of the Town!
Stuart’s Lyric Theatre will be showcasing Treasure Coast talent at “The Toast of the Town Show!” January 22nd. The brain child of Al Cicchese and Frankie “D”, this old time Musical Variety Show debuted to a standing room only audience earlier this year at Tradition’s Town Hall in Port St. Lucie. According to Frankie “D”, “The show was a total success. Everyone was talking about it.”
After months of scouting the Treasure Coast for raw talent, Al and Frank came up with a cadre of performers to satisfy a variety of musical interests. According to the duo, “The show includes tunes from Broadway, Jazz, Country, Rock “n” Roll, and even some Doo Wop.”
Frankie “D” described The Stars of the Show: Scott Norton singing Rock ‘n’ Roll Elvis, Connie Sacco delivering the sweet sounds of Connie Francis and American Song Book selections, Dennis the Singing Tenor belting out some Josh Grobin, Al Chicchese bringing Broadway’s show tunes to life, Mike Carter’s operatic Voice will make you swoon, 16-year old singing sensation Kimberly Taylor will take you surprise, Scarlet Down, one of Country Music’s best female trios from this neck of the wood, will have you jumping out of your seat, The Doo Wop harmony of the Renditions will take you on a 50s and 60s musical tribute, and host, Jim Moran will keep you in stitches.
A portion of the proceeds from this musical event on Friday January 22, 2010 will benefit PACE Center for Girls. The Lyric Theatre doors will open at 6:30 p.m. and the show starts at 7:30.
