LILY TOMLIN

When Lily Tomlin takes the stage, we hesitate to call it a “one-woman show.”  Her performances feature many of the personalities that this incredible entertainer has created for stage and screen, including Ernestine, the irascible telephone operator, and Edith Ann -- both from “Rowan and Martin’s Laugh-In” -- Tommy Velour, Madame Lupe (the world’s oldest living beauty expert) and a host of characters from her Broadway show “The Search for Signs of Intelligent Life in the Universe.”  

Tomlin – actress, comedienne and a veritable force of nature – has performed in television, theater, films, animation and video, and achieved remarkable success in all of them.  A household name for over six decades, she continues to amuse, entertain and ultimately leave us with much food for thought.  Tomlin quickly sold out the house when she appeared at the Lyric in 2010, so reserve your seats now!
