Shakespeare Inspired

Shakespeare, as bard and muse, has inspired writers, artists and composers through the present day.  Nicolai, Gounod, Elgar, Mendelssohn and last, but not least, Tchaikovsky all composed music for Shakespeare’s theatrical works including Merry Wives of Windsor, Othello, Midsummer Night’s Dream, and Romeo and Juliet. 

In this performance, the finest young musicians on the Treasure Coast present Shakespeare’s “inspired” in concert!  Join the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony for another wonderful evening of music.  You may even be surprised at how well you know these beautiful pieces!
