BARRAGE

They’re back to take the Lyric by storm:  musical storm, that is!   Barrage, a high-energy fiddle fest, features five incredibly talented violinists and dancers serving up a fuel injected repertoire of everything from Celtic jigs to classical selections to blue grass.  

Barrage’s virtuoso performers – including five violinists, a percussionist, a bass player and a guitarist – will leave you energized and amazed as they demonstrate the power and versatility of the violin.  The troupe’s eclectic mix of music, song and dance showcases their multiple talents in an energetic, often acrobatic, stage performance.  The Denver Post calls them “ . . . too ‘Wow’ for words!”  

Founded in 1996 in Calgary, Canada, Barrage rapidly gained an international following, and now tours worldwide 30 weeks a year.  They have entertained millions of people around the globe, and have been featured on PBS in the United States, the BBC in the United Kingdom and CBC in Canada.
