Treasure Coast Youth Symphony Presents

American Frontier

American Frontier!

Join the finest young musicians of the Treasure Coast in a concert that includes the “dramatic, lyrical and spacious” music reflecting the American experience of Czech composer, Antonin Dvorak, at the end of the nineteenth century, and the brightly optimistic music of Aaron Copland in the early 20th century.

The evening will include a performance by the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony’s 2014 Concerto Competition Winner and concertmaster, Timothy Nicolas.  Described as a young violinist who plays “with the heart and emotion of a gypsy”, Timothy will perform the Bruch Violin Concerto.

Educating to preserve, create, and celebrate our musical heritage, the Treasure Coast Youth Symphony has served our community as one of its finest musical arts organizations for young musicians and orchestra audiences since 1987.
