The Tap Pack

The Rat Pack was the epitome of cool. Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin and the gang personified an era that is long past but not forgotten. Enter The Tap Pack, five talented Australian blokes who sing, joke around and tap dance in an elegant and entertaining nod to the originals. They’re a modern Rat Pack with world class tapping skills and it begs the question: why are Australian men so gorgeous?

The guys, dressed in slick suits, pay homage to the Rat Pack with their witty banter and smooth vocals and a swinging live jazz band, but it is the extraordinary tap dancing that will amaze. They grab you from the first downbeat and the pace of the show never slows as they joke, compete and perform cool classics with a fresh twist. They infuse tap dance with swing music and dance up a storm. The talented performers have stage, film and television credits and more than 20 musical productions among them.

This is the group’s first U.S. tour, but they have packed in audiences at the Sydney Opera House and London’s West End. TimeOut London said that the show “was an astonishing tap display that builds in intensity…hammering out completely different rhythms with each foot, soaring in the air, touching toe to heel. Genuinely breathtaking.” The Sydney Morning Herald called the hometown lads “a terrific cast and some hot tapping. Take this chance to get the full, swoon-inducing effect of these classy young men with their incredibly fast feet.”

The Tap Pack is pure entertainment. They sing, they dance, they joke. They bring a new, invigorating energy to a timeless style. It’s Old School Cool from the new Kings of Swing. They’ll tap their way into your heart.
