The Legends of Doo Wop

Their names are legendary.  Their music is timeless. 

The Legends of Doo-Wop are four of the finest voices of the 50s:  Former lead singers Jimmy Gallagher (The Passions), Tommy Mara (The Crests) and Frank Mancuso (The Imaginations), plus their essential bass man, Steve Horn (The Five Sharks).  They’ll take you back to the doo-wop days with classics like “Just To Be With You,” “This Is My Love,” “Guardian Angel,” “Hey You,” “Oh Rosemarie” and many more.

Together, the Legends boast over 160 years of group harmonizing, more than any other doo-wop or a cappella group performing today.  Their tight harmonies and smooth vocals earned each member a Gold Record for “Doo Wop 50,” the recording from the PBS-TV special commemorating the 50-year anniversary of this distinctive style of R&B vocal group harmony.
