Maria Guleghina

Maria Guleghina is one of the most celebrated and acclaimed sopranos in the world.  The Ukrainian native has been called the “Cinderella from Russia,” a “Russian Soprano with Verdi flowing through her veins,” and a “vocal miracle.” 

Guleghina is particularly noted for her interpretation of the title role in Tosca, which she has performed at such leading opera houses as the Vienna State Opera, the Paris Opera, La Scala and the Metropolitan Opera.  Her repertoire also includes the title role in Aida, Manon Lescaut, Norma and Fedora, as well as Lady Macbeth in Macbeth.  She has shared the stage with such leading singers as Luciano Pavarotti, Placido Domingo, Leo Nucci, Renato Bruson and Jose Cura.
