Atlanta Rhythm Section
Atlanta Rhythm Section, or ARS, has been called a southern rock band, but their style also draws from the influences of such groups as the Eagles and Fleetwood Mac. A short list of their hits demonstrates a musical diversity that extends far beyond the southern rock genre, including “So Into You,” “I’m Not Gonna Let It Bother Me Tonight,” “Imaginary Lover” and “Champagne Jam.”
The accomplished musicians that founded ARS include former members of the Candymen (Roy Orbison’s band) and the Classics IV, known for hits like “Spooky” and “Stormy.” ARS would later record a popular remake of “Spooky.” Don’t miss this true classic band in classic rock.
