STARWARS NUTCRACKER

Not your mother’s Nutcracker, but not your brother’s Star Wars either. This eclectic romp from Tchaikovsky to John Williams is bound to be an evening of pure entertainment. These two classics unite to depict Princess Leah as Clara, Luke Skywalker as Fritz, Hans Solo disguised as the Nutcracker, and Darth Vadar as Mr. Evil himself.  The elements of traditional, classical ballet are presented alongside tap, jazz, contemporary, and tumbling, as well as a  pop-locking C3PO. Even Jawas on heelies shape this unique view of The Nutcracker and um…a kind of Star Wars Madness.  So, grab your light saber and your point shoes and head for an evening of dance, fun, artistry and joy.
