KC & The Sunshine Band

Put on your platform shoes and polyester:  It’s time to “Get Down Tonight”!  And who better to lead the party than KC & The Sunshine band?  The group’s hits are synonymous with the best of the disco era:  “That’s the Way (I Like It),” “Boogie Shoes,” “(Shake, Shake, Shake) Shake Your Booty,” “I’m Your Boogie Man,” and many more. 

With sales of over 100 million records, nine Grammy nominations, three Grammy Awards and an American Music Award, KC & The Sunshine Band was one of the most progressive bands of the 70s, and is credited with changing the sound of modern pop music.  They remain as widely popular today as they were when they first danced into the music scene 35 years ago. 

This special fundraising performance, with all proceeds benefiting the Lyric Theatre, includes pre-and post-concert partying with cocktails and hors d’oeuvres, and plenty of time to get up and boogie!
