A Night of Samba and Salsa

The Lyric will come alive with the intoxicating sounds, colors and movement of the Caribbean, as more than a dozen vivacious entertainers present some of the hottest music and dance from around the world.  Wearing authentic costumes, beautiful dancers will perform the salsa, samba, cha-cha, merengue, African Cuban dance and more, all to the beat of spectacular live music.

The show opener – a mambo – will take you to Havana’s world-famous Tropicana cabaret, with fun and colorful choreography.  Later, you’ll get caught up in the contagious spirit of the Brazilian carnival.  And before the night is through, you’ll even have the chance to participate with some dance moves of your own! 

This talented international cast, featuring performers from Argentina, Cuba, Colombia and the United States, has entertained audiences throughout the country and abroad, including Central and South America and China.
