It's a Wonderful Life: Live from WVL Radio Theatre at The Borland Center

“It’s a Wonderful Life: Live from WVL Radio Theatre” presents director Frank Capra’s iconic story in a refreshingly new and intimate way.  In this unique live broadcast adaptation by W.V.R. Repoley, the ON AIR sign lights up and you’re in the studios of WVL Radio on Christmastime, 1946.  More than 30 characters and numerous locations of the classic movie spring to life in a beautifully replicated experience that recalls a mainstay of our cultural life in years past – the live radio drama. 
 In a production with meticulous attention to 1940s authenticity, a small group of talented actors – plus live sound effects – use the audience’s collective imagination to create a moving and memorable theatrical experience.
