STUART HERITAGE MUSEUM
Stuart Heritage, Inc. was created in 1988 when the City of Stuart purchased the 1901 Stuart Feed Store building on Flagler Avenue in downtown Stuart, FL. The purpose of Stuart Heritage is to help preserve the heritage, artifacts and history of Stuart and its surrounding communities. The countless relics housed by the museum since August 1992 define the history of the people, businesses, agriculture and community spirit of the City of Stuart and Martin County.

The WOMAN’S CLUB OF STUART
(EST. 1913)
The legacy began in 1913 with Mrs. J. R. Pomeroy, who organized and was the 1st president of the Woman’s Club of Stuart. With 29 committed women she began the dynasty that today embodies hundreds of local club women who donate their time and energy to the many worthy causes of our town, the people who live here, and the greater global community.

Special thanks to our members,  who have given their time and support to the Celebration for the City of Stuart’s Centennial! We honor the women we follow in our 100th year anniversary!
