The Travelin’ McCourys is an all-star offshoot of the most awarded group in the history of bluegrass music – the Del McCoury Band.

The group features Del McCoury’s sons Ron on mandolin and Rob on banjo, who pair up with members of other touring bands in configurations reminiscent of the Traveling Wilburys. The current line-up includes Jason Carter on fiddle and Alan Bartram on bass, with featured guests on guitar and vocals.

Known for their prowess on their instruments and their rapidly expanding reputation as collaborators with numerous musical superstars – including Vince Gill, the Allman Brothers and Phish – this touring unit blends the best of the Appalachian tradition with the improvisational magic of jazz, folk and blues.
